BJP-led NDA has prioritized fostering honesty, transparency, and development as the foundation of politics: Jagat Prakash Nadda » Kamal Sandesh

Bharatiya Janata Party National President Shri Jagat Prakash Nadda addressed a public rally in Gondia, Maharashtra. In his address, Shri Nadda emphasized the development initiatives of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi and the empowerment of all sections of society. He highlighted that the opposition Ghamandia Alliance was embroiled in corruption scandals, with many of its leaders either in jail or out on bail. Shri Nadda appealed to the voters to ensure the third term for PM Shri Narendra Modi. During the event, BJP state President Shri Chandrashekhar Bawankule, BJP Lok Sabha candidate from Gondia Shri Sunil Medhe, BJP Lok Sabha candidate from Gadchiroli Shri Ashok Nete, and other leaders were present.

Shri Jagat Prakash Nadda emphasized that the 2024 Lok Sabha election is a contest between two ideologies. On one side are those who lack any agenda or blueprint for India’s progress, with their sole focus on ousting PM Shri Narendra Modi and indulging in derogatory remarks about him. On the other hand, the BJP’s ideology, led by Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, aims to lead India forward, progress the nation, uplift its citizens, and establish India’s stature globally. Shri Nadda emphasized that Hon’ble PM Shri Narendra Modi has transformed the political culture of India, reshaped the definition of Indian politics, and revolutionized the approach to political action and thinking

Shri Nadda emphasized that in the previous era of politics, candidates were identified based on their caste, community, social background, and geographical origins. Elections were often won through divisive strategies, exploiting caste and communal identities. However, under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, this narrative has shifted. Elections now revolve around the theme of development, with a focus on inclusive growth and the principle of ‘Sabka Sath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishvas, Sabka Prayas‘. Shri Nadda highlighted that while some parties have resorted to caste-based polarization, the BJP and its allies stand against such divisive tactics. Their objective is not to perpetuate caste divisions but to foster unity and eradicate caste-based discrimination. Hon’ble PM Shri Narendra Modi’s vision centers around uplifting the marginalized sections of society encapsulated in the acronym ‘GYAN’ – Gareeb, Yuva, Annadata, and Nari Shakti.

Shri Nadda emphasized the direct correlation between societal upliftment and the development of villages, the poor, marginalized, Dalits, youth, farmers, and women empowerment. He underscored that under PM Shri Narendra Modi’s leadership, over 18,000 villages received electricity connections, benefiting more than 2.5 crore people through the Saubhagya Yojana. Shri Nadda highlighted the distribution of essential food items to over 80 crore individuals, including beneficiaries in Gondia. He noted that leading to such efforts 25 crore people have been uplifted from the poverty line, as recognized by the IMF, with extreme poverty in India decreasing to less than 1%. Additionally, Shri Nadda mentioned the provision of over 10 crore connections under the Ujjwala Yojana, the construction of more than 12 crore toilets, and the enrollment of over 55 crore individuals under a free health cover of ₹5 lakh annually.

Shri Jagat Prakash Nadda highlighted the infrastructure development in Maharashtra, including the expansion of roads, national highways, airports, and railways. He mentioned the electrification of railway lines and the construction of overbridges, underbridges, and elevated roads. Additionally, Shri Nadda noted the establishment of a medical college in Gondia, aligning with PM Shri Narendra Modi’s vision of providing a medical college in every district. Shri Nadda emphasized that to sustain the ongoing development, the public should elect PM Shri Narendra Modi, who epitomizes progress and growth. The Mahayuti government has done everything for the development of the state under the leadership of PM Shri Narendra Modi.

BJP National President highlighted the contrasting approaches towards corruption, with PM Shri Narendra Modi advocating for “Bhrashtachar Hatao” while the opposition, labeled as the Ghamandia Alliance, seemingly supports “Bhrashtachari Bachao.” Shri Nadda detailed various scandals involving the Congress, including the Coal scam, AgustaWestland scam, Submarine scam, rice scam, Sugar scam, 2G-3G scam, and Commonwealth scam. He also mentioned allegations against Akhilesh Yadav in the Gomti front scam and laptop distribution scam, as well as controversies involving Lalu Yadav in fodder, coal, and job allocation irregularities. Shri Nadda emphasized that Mamata Banerjee was accused of involvement in teacher recruitment, cattle smuggling, and sand mining irregularities. Shri Nadda further pointed out Tamil Nadu CM MK Stalin’s reported income declaration of ₹1.32 lakh crore, suggesting links to sand mining scams. Additionally, he referenced K Chandrashekhar Rao’s daughter, K. Kavitha, and her purported involvement in liquor-related controversies. Overall, Shri Jagat Prakash Nadda emphasized the numerous corruption allegations against these individuals.

Shri Nadda highlighted that Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, Congress leader Sonia Gandhi, Congress leader P. Chidambaram, Congress leader Kartik Chidambaram, RJD Leader Lalu Yadav, and AAP Leader Sanjay Singh are out on bail. Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal, AAP leaders Manish Sisodia, Satyendar Kumar Jain including BRS leader K. Kavitha are in jail. Shri Nadda stated that either of the opposition leaders are currently out on bail, or behind bars

BJP National President Shri Jagat Prakash Nadda urged the public to participate in the upcoming elections by voting for the ‘lotus’ symbol, ensuring the progress of both the country and Maharashtra under the leadership of Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi.
