Shri Veluri Venkatramaiah from Rajahmundry, East Godavari district in Andhra Pradesh always had a great inclination towards RSS since his schooling days. This led him to join the Jana Sangh where he held numerous positions at the district and state level. Veluri ji took part in the special Andhra movement between 1971-73. He contested for the Legislative council as Jana Sangh candidature for Graduates Constituency.
