BJP President Addresses ‘1st Madan Lal Khurana Memorial Lecture’
Delivering the First Madan Lal Khurana Memorial Lecture in New Delhi on 15th October 2022, BJP National President Shri Jagat Prakash Nadda said that BJP has become the largest political party in the world. Shri Nadda said the foundation of the party has been laid by such stalwarts who always stuck to the party’s ideology.
Shri Nadda said, at present, there is BJP government in 18 States and the Party has 302 MPs in Lok Sabha and 92 members in Rajya Sabha. “The BJP which is now the world’s largest political party was founded by such stalwarts as Shri Khurana who never wavered from their ideology and showed a deep commitment towards people,” he said.
He said we can learn and know a lot from the life of Shri Khurana as he was involved in numerous political struggles and provided solution to different issues. Shri Madan Lal Khurana gave political identity to Delhi, Shri Nadda said.
He told party Karyakartas that a true tribute to the former Delhi Chief Minister Shri Madan Lal Khurana would be to take inspiration from his life as he was never after power but was committed to ideology, connected himself to the issues and served people till the last.
