Late Shri Jupudi Yagna Narayana from Kativaram village in Andhra Pradesh joined the RSS at a very young age. His association with the RSS led him to join the Jana Sangh where he assumed various positions at district, state and also at the national level. He was jailed as a MISA detainee during the Emergency Period.
He actively participated in the Jai Andhra movement during 1971-73. He played a key role in establishing Jana Sangh, Janata Party and BJP in the state. Shri Narayana was a multitalented person and a successful lawyer, intellectual, good orator, artist and sportsman.
