Shri Komaragiri Krishna Mohan Rao from Nadigama town joined RSS as a bal swayamsevak. Later, he worked as an RSS Vistarak in Avanigadda and Nandigama during 1953-56. Moreover, he worked for the expansion of the party from Krishna district to Srikakulam district between 1967-75.
He was jailed for 19 months as a MISA detainee during the emergency period of 1975. He also played a significant role in fighting against the hike of land taxes and took part in the Visakha steel movement, special Andhra movement and Lok Nayak Jayaprakash Narayan movements.
