J&K BJP spokesperson Shri Gulam Ali Khatana was nominated on 12 September, 2022 to the Rajya Sabha. Shri Khatana, an engineer from Bathindi in Jammu, will be member from J&K in the Upper House.
Delighted with his nomination, Shri Khatana said this is a moment of pride for the people of J&K. “PM Modi has kept his promise to uplift the neglected sections of society by nominating an ordinary worker from a community, which has been neglected for the past 70 years,” he said.
