BJP National President’s Chhattisgarh Pravas

BJP National President Shri JP Nadda arrived in the capital city of Chhattisgarh, Raipur on 09 September, 2022 for a four-day Pravas, during which he took part in various events of the party. State BJP President Shri Arun Sao, former Chief Minister and party National Vice-President Dr. Raman Singh, BJP National General Secretary and state in-charge Smt. D Purandeswari, BJP MPs and MLAs were among those who received Shri Nadda at the airport. Tribal folk artists and thousands of BJP Karyakartas also accorded a grand welcome to the BJP National President at the Swami Vivekananda Airport with beats of ‘dhol’ and ‘nagada’ and traditional dance upon his arrival.

From the airport, Shri Nadda headed for Deendayal Chowk escorted by convoy of vehicles of party leaders and a motorcycle rally organised by the state Yuva Morcha. At Deendayal Chowk, the BJP President offered floral tributes at the statue of Pt. Deendayal Upadhyaya following which a mega road show was taken out from there. Covering a distance of around six kilometers the road show concluded at Ekatma Parisar.

Shri Nadda then addressed a Karyakarta Sammelan at College ground in Raipur. Subsequently, he chaired a number of meetings of the state BJP’s core group, MLAs, MPs and others at Kushabhau Thakre Parisar of the state BJP office.

Karyakarta Sammelan in Raipur

Addressing the Karyakarta Sammelan in Raipur, BJP National President Shri JP Nadda said if Chhattisgarh was made, it was only because of Bharat Ratna Atal Bihari Vajpayee ji. There was an idea of Chhattisgarh becoming a separate state and Atal ji realized that idea.

Criticizing the Congress party he said Congress is the party of ‘brother and sister’. These days, the Congress is organizing ‘Bharat Jodo’ campaign but before that they need to first align their own party, he said.

Chhattisgarh CM is anti-development

Criticising the Chhattisgarh Chief Minister, Shri Nadda said CM Bhupesh Baghel turned a blind eye to rampant corruption, underdevelopment and tribal killings in the state. Instead of looking after the people, the CM is clapping in Kerala with Rahul Gandhi. He said CM Baghel is anti-development who only wants to fill the treasures of Congress party. Leaving the people of Chhattisgarh, he is engaged in the service of one family.

Service is the goal of BJP

The BJP National President said there is a corrupt government of Congress in Chhattisgarh which is engaged in looting the people only. Along with this, he said that on the other side there was a BJP government which was engaged day and night in the service of the people of Chhattisgarh.

He said politics is not a matter of sitting on the chair, politics is about service and service is the goal for BJP. For BJP, power is the medium, service is our goal.
Shri JP Nadda said Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi has changed the culture of politics in India. Now if anyone has to go in front of the public, then he has to take his report card.

Special emphasis for development

The BJP National President said the Modi government has been giving special emphasis for the development of Chhattisgarh. Under Ayushman Bharat scheme, 36 lakh families from Chhattisgarh are getting benefits. Under the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana, the central government has given financial assistance of about Rs 1,223 crore to the farmers of Chhattisgarh directly in their bank accounts. Electricity has been provided to about 7.50 lakh houses under Saubhagya scheme, 33 lakh gas connections have been distributed under Ujjwala scheme and about 36 lakh Izzat houses have been built in the state by the Modi government, he added.
