The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi has congratulated the people on number of tap water connection touching 13 crore mark from 3 crore in just 4 years. The Prime Minister said Jal Jeevan Mission is proving to be a milestone in making clean water available to people and increasing ease of life and public health.
In reply to the post by the Union Minister Shri Gajendra Singh Shekhawat, the Prime Minister posted on X :
“इस शानदार उपलब्धि के लिए बहुत-बहुत बधाई! ग्रामीण भारत के मेरे परिवारजनों तक पीने का शुद्ध पानी पहुंचे, इस दिशा में ‘जल जीवन मिशन’ मील का पत्थर साबित होने जा रहा है। यह ना सिर्फ उनकी परेशानियों को दूर करने में मददगार बना है, बल्कि उनके बेहतर स्वास्थ्य को भी सुनिश्चित कर रहा है।”
