SALIENT POINTS OF THE SPEECH OF THE BJP NATIONAL PRESIDENT SHRI JAGAT PRAKASH NADDA JI GIVEN WHILE ADDRESSING A MAJOR PUBLIC RALLY IN KULLU IN HIMACHAL PRADESH

The Bharatiya Janata Party National President Honourable Shri Jagat Prakash Nadda ji today held a massive road show on an open jeep in Kullu. There were great enthusiasm among the people during the road show as Shri Nadda was given a rousing welcome. Shri Nadda also flagged off 50 new ambulances after the road show.

Addressing the massive public gathering Shri Nadda said that under the leadership of our Honourable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji ‘lotus’ is once again going to bloom in Himachal Pradesh as the Bharatiya Janata Party is going to win with massive majority. The great people of Himachal Pradesh are eager to give their blessings to the Bharatiya Janata Party and once again form the double engine government of the BJP under the leadership and guidance of Honourable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji.

During the Congress party government under Rajiv Gandhi the special status category to Himachal Pradesh was snatched and similarly under the Sonia Gandhi – Manmohan Singh government the industrial package was also withdrawn which was given to Himachal Pradesh by the Bharatiya Janata Party government under our Honourable Prime Minister Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee ji. This is the reality, the truth of the Congress party.

Our Honourable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji restored the special category status to Himachal Pradesh without even the state government asking for it. The Narendra Modi Government gave 90% fund from the Union government under the Smart City scheme. The completion of Atal Tunnel, the dream of our Honourable former Prime Minister Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee ji, was also done by our Honourable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji.

The Congress party has always snatched the rights of Himachal Pradesh and its people. The Congress party has deprived the people of Himachal Pradesh with their rights and privileges. The historic victory of the Bharatiya Janata Party in Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Goa and Manipur under the leadership of Honourable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji shows the trust and support that the Bharatiya Janata Party enjoys among the masses. In Uttar Pradesh all Aam Aadmi Party candidates lost their deposits in the assembly elections. In Uttarakhand 68 candidates lost their deposits in 70 seats. In Goa also most of the Aam Aadmi Party candidates lost their deposits. Similarly in Uttar Pradesh the Congress party candidates lost deposits in 387 out of 399 candidates.

The massive victory of the Bharatiya Janata Party in Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Manipur and Goa has clearly proven that the people of the country has risen above the politics of casteism, communalism, appeasement and dynasty politics. In Sirmaur IIM is coming up at a cost of Rs 392 crore and AIIMS is coming up in Rs 1400 crores in Bilaspur. A total of 9 trauma centres are coming up across Himachal Pradesh including Kullu. Similarly 4 new medical colleges are also coming up in Shimla, Chamba, Hamirpur and Nahan.

In the past 5 years a strong rural road network of 6148 kms has come up across Himachal Pradesh. Under Jairam Thakur government Himachal Pradesh has written a new challenge of growth, development, progress and prosperity. And the people of Himachal Pradesh will continue to bless and support the Bharatiya Janata Party in the state.

In the past 2 years since March 2020 over 80 crore people have been benefitted from the Pradhanmantri Gareeb Kalyan Anna Yojna where people are getting free rations and no poor has slept on empty stomach during the Corona pandemic. This is the sensitivity of our Honourable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji and the care he has taken of poor and needy people.

The World Bank report says that it is due to the economic and social initiatives of our Honourable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji that 12.3% people have been brought out of the extreme poverty and today below 1% people are under the extreme poverty, which is a remarkable and historic achievement particularly when the world is reeling under the Corona pandemic. India’s Corona management under our Honourable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji is being appreciated across the world. Our exports also crossed Rs 400 crore mark in the last financial year which is a remarkable achievement.

Bapu Mahatma Gandhi have his entire life for the promotion of Khadi. Post Independence the Congress party Government ruled the country for around 55 years but none made serious and concerted efforts to save and promote our Khadi industry. But after our Honourable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji took over he did everything for the promotion and strengthening of the Khadi industry. Shri Narendra Modi ji took lead in adopting Khadi in daily needs which led to every citizen making it a part of their lives. Today Khadi has become ‘fast moving consumer good’ (FMCG).

Before our Honourable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji took over India had only 500 start-ups, but today there are over 68,000 start-ups out of which 100 are Unicorns.

During the Russia Ukraine war our Honourable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji created a safe corridor to evacuate thousands of Indians in the war zone. The Narendra Modi Government talked to the heads of state of Russia and Ukraine and safely brought home 23,000 citizens. No other country in the world took such an initiative to safely airlift its students and citizens.
