Hon’ble Union Home Minister &  Cooperation Minister Shri Amit Shah addressed a public meeting in Nirmal (Telangana) on the occasion of ‘Telangana Vimochan Diwas’, here are the Salient points of his speech:  

• It was due to the valour and courage of iron man Sardar Vallabh Bhai Patel that after 13 months of India’s Independence On September 17, 1948 the people of Telangana were saved from the clutches of Nizam and Rajakars and got their independence. With this the famous Polo mission came to an end. 
• The Bharatiya Janata Party has taken the rightful decision that whenever the BJP will form government in Telangana, every year on September 17 will be officially celebrated as ‘Hyderabad Vimochan Diwas’. 
• In 2024, the Bharatiya Janata Party will form its government in Telangana with full majority and in next Lok Sabha elections the BJP will win all Lok Sabha seats. It is only the Bharatiya Janata Party that works for the poor and can get Telangana rid of dynasty politics. 
• Today is the birthday of the world’s most popular political leader and our Honourable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji. Entire country will celebrate ‘Sewa Diwas’ from September 17 to October 7, for 20 days as a mark of respect for Shri Narendra Modi ji. 
• We all pray to the Almighty God to give a long and healthy life to our beloved Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji. We also pray to God to give him strength to take India to new heights and make our country ‘Vishwaguru’. 
• Today on the occasion of the birthday of Honourable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji a nationwide massive Corona vaccination drive. In the biggest ever one day drive vaccination of over 2.19 crore took place which is a world record.
• Honourable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji after 70 years of Independence has changed the fortunes of over 60 crore people by changing their lives. We pray to God and wish that under the leadership and guidance of Shri Modi ji this journey of growth, prosperity and development and welfare of poor and downtrodden continue uninterrupted. 
• Those who are scared of Majlis can remain so, but the Bharatiya Janata Party is not afraid of Majlis. We never do the politics of appeasement. During the Telangana Movement, the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) had promised to celebrate Telangana Vimochan Diwas on September 17. What is the Chief Minister afraid of and when will he fulfill his promise? 
• The Bharatiya Janata Party’s Telangana president Shri Bandi Sanjay Kumar is taking out Praja Sangram Yatra on foot. This march on foot will be held in five phases and in each phase will cover 50-60 kms. This yatra will cover all 119 assembly constituencies of Telangana and will make people aware about the works of the Bharatiya Janata Party. 
• The five phase yatra will cover all 119 assembly constituencies and it will lay the foundation and pave way for the formation of the Bharatiya Janata Party government in Telangana with full majority. This battle is against those who are with the Majlis and those who are running dynasty governments in the state. 
• Some people feel that they will be saved by joining hands with Owaisi. But the people of Telangana are very aware and intelligent and those who feel they will be saved are wrong. With each passing day the people of Telangana are joining hands with the Bharatiya Janata Party and are coming out in full support of the BJP. 
• The Congress party is getting decimated from every State of the country. In Telangana the Congress party can never be the alternative of the TRS. And even if by mistake the Congress becomes the alternative of the TRS, how will it fight the Majlis? The Congress has the culture and tradition of Rajakars and it cannot fight against Owaisi. 
• This year India is celebrating its 75th Independence Day. We are celebrating Amrit Mahotsav and its goal and aim is to make the country aware about sacrifices and great contributions of freedom fighters like Ramji Gond, Komaram
• Bheem, Madawi Tukaram and Ramtirth ji and our current and future generations should know about these great personalities. 
• In Telangana religion based reservation has been given. The Bharatiya Janata Party believes that reservation should never be given on the basis of reservation. We strongly oppose reservation based on religion. This is against our Constitution. The Bharatiya Janata Party strongly opposes it. 
• The election symbol of the TRS is ‘car’. The car is being run by steering and in Telangana the car is of the TRS but the steering is in the hands of Owaisi. Can such a car do good for the development and progress of Telangana? 
• The TRS feels that every election is won by money power. But the people of Telangana have now said goodbye to the politics of money power, muscle power, politics of dynasty and appeasement.
