BJP National President participated Tiranga Yatra in Meerut » Kamal Sandesh

The Bharatiya Janata Party National President Shri Jagat Prakash Nadda ji today flagged off the ‘Tiranga Yatra’ organised at Saheed Sthal in Meerut in Uttar Pradesh as part of the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign being celebrated to mark the Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav. Shri Nadda also participated in the grand Tiranga Yatra at Kranti Bhoomi in Meerut and inspired youth and citizens to sacrifice everything for  the nation. Those present at the function included Union Minister Dr Sanjeev Balyan, Meerut MP Shri Rajendra Agarwal, UP Government Minister Shri JPS Rathore, BJP Youth wing National General Secretary and National Spokesperson Shri Raju Bista, MP Shri Laxmikant Bajpai, Shri Vijay Singh Tomar, Smt Kanta Kardam and several ministers in UP Government and BJP youth wing leaders and workers. Entire city reverberated with the slogans of Bharat Mata Ki Jai and Vande Mataram.

Before flagging off the ‘Tiranga Yatra’ the Bharatiya Janata Party National President addressed the massive gathering and said that on May 10, 1857 it was from Meerut India’s first freedom struggle which spread in the entire nation. I feel honoured and elated to be in this land.

Shri Nadda said on the appeal of our Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji the entire country and all citizens are celebrating the Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav ‘ and we are all unfurling the Tricolour on top of our houses, commercial establishments and offices to show our patriotism and enlightening the entire nation. Today the entire nation is drenched in patriotic fervour. Our National Flag is our pride and our honour. It is the symbol of our nation building and national integration.

The Bharatiya Janata Party National President said we all the citizens pledge to increase the honour of our Tricolour and inspire everyone to follow the path of nationalism and patriotism. Saffron colour is the symbol of courage and bravery, while white colour represents peace and harmony and green is of development and progress. Ashok emblem chakra represents that our nation is the mother of democracy.

Shri Nadda said while celebrating this day we cannot forget the contributions of Hon’ble Dr Shyama Prasad Mukherjee ji the strong oratory of unified India. Post Independence over 500 princely states were unified with India barring Jammu and Kashmir which had a separate flag, separate symbol and separate constitution. Dr Mukherjee started and led a national movement to make Jammu and Kashmir an integral part of our country and laid his life after visiting Jammu and Kashmir without any permit. Since then it had a mission from us to unify Jammu and Kashmir with India and end the provision of two constitutions, two heads and two symbols in one country. The Bharatiya Janata Party continued with its struggle and when Hon’ble Shri Narendra Modi ji became the Prime Minister the historic day of August 5, 2019 came when Article 370 was removed from our Constitution which integrated Jammu and Kashmir with India and permanently ended ‘ek Vidhan, ek Pradhan and ek Nisaan’. Today from Jammu and Kashmir to Kanyakumari and from Kutch to Kamrup the nation is one and our Tricolour is basking in its full glory.

Shri Nadda said the Bharatiya Janata Party has been committed to national integration and unity since its formation. With these sentiments, crores of Bharatiya Janata Party karyakartas are celebrating the Tiranga Yatra and enthusiastically observing the Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav across the country. I am thankful to all for making this campaign highly successful. I appeal to all the citizens to participate in the Tiranga Yatra campaign and make it highly successful. We should all take pledge and commit ourselves to make India the topmost nation in the next 25 years and reclaim our position of Vishwa Guru.
