The Bharatiya Janata Party National President Shri Jagat Prakash Nadda has condoled the tragic death of the Chief of Defence Staff Gen Bipin Rawat ji in a helicopter crash in Coonoor in Tamil Nadu today.  He also offered his condolences on the untimely death of the wife of Gen Rawat, Mrs Madhulika Rawat, and other senior officers and defence personnel who were also killed in the crash.

In his condolence message, Shri Nadda said he was very disturbed, saddened and shocked over such a heart-rending and devastating news. The entire nation is shocked and deeply pained over the death of the Chief of Defence Staff Gen Bipin Rawat ji, his and other officers of our defence forces.

Shri Nadda said this is irreparable loss for the entire nation and this void can never be filled. Entire nation is united in offering its deep condolences and rich tributes to our heroes, our brave officers.

The Bharatiya Janata Party National President also offered his condolences to the family members of the Chief of Defence Staff Gen Bipin Rawat ji and also to families of other officers for the irreparable loss.

Shri Nadda said he offers his prayers and tributes to the brave officers for serving the nation in extremely difficult and challenging times and offering the supreme sacrifice. I pray to God to give strength to the family members of the departed souls to bear this massive loss.
