Dr. Syama Prasad Mukherjee founded the Bharatiya Janata Sangh to provide an alternative to the Congress while promoting nationalism, poor welfare, the preservation of Indian cultural values, and transparency in the country. Pt. Deendayal Upadhyay, a distinguished scholar of Indian politics, laid the intellectual groundwork for “Integral Humanism.” This party, which has been steadily growing since its inception, merged with the Janata Party during the emergency to protect democracy. On April 6, 1980, a new party called the Bharatiya Janata Party was formed on the Indian political horizon on the Mumbai sea coast with the resolve of “Andhera Chhantega, Suraj Niklega, and Kamal Khilega.” Atal Bihari Vajpayee led the party.
Today, under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, the same party with 18 crore members has grown to become the world’s largest party. Many states, including in the center, have BJP-led governments. The country has benefited from nationalist ideas, programmes for the welfare of the poor, and the party’s strong, sincere leadership.
Since its inception, the BJP has been committed to strengthening national integration through the establishment of nationalism in politics. Following democracy from the polling booth to election of the National President became the Bharatiya Janata Party’s resolve to preserve democracy in the country. The goal is to uplift the poor through decentralized economy without any discrimination in society. Following their respective modes of worship without discrimination, everyone’s contribution in the country’s development, and adhering to the principle of ‘Nation

First,’ serving the people of the country with pure conduct became the BJP’s goal. Our country is a country with diversity. Language, caste, modes of worship, food, color, and dress make us different from each other. Many people with superficial thinking and uner the influence of foreign conspiracies made this diversity the basis of their politics considering this diversity as division. And not considering a nation they tried to harvest votes based on mutual struggle between castes, tribal and city dwellers, upper-caste and Dalit. Since the beginning, BJP has been doing politics on the basis of the principle of one nation, one people, one culture. Diversity is not its weakness, it is the beauty of this country. Northeast has also expressed this voice by making BJP win the elections. That’s why Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi said that now the Northeast is neither far from Delhi nor far from the heart. Bandh, chakka jam, and terror have now ended and the stream of development is flowing there. Freed from 370, Kashmir is smelling of saffron. Kashi Tamil Sangamam has deepened the belief in unity under Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s unique initiative ‘ Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat ‘.
The BJP leadership, by fighting for Berubadi, Kutch, and Kashmir, has instilled in the people a sense of nationalism and national unity. As a result, millions of people from across the country and around the world are chanting “Bharat Mata Ki Jai” in unison.
The parties active on the political ground are losing their internal democracy. The election process is either not followed or it is just a show-off. All the regional parties of the country including Congress are suffering from the crisis of ‘Parivarvad’.As a result, the talented leadership of those parties is either leaving the party or is inactive. The parties that cannot follow democracy within their own ranks cannot be expected to protect the country’s democracy. Congress has already crushed democracy by declaring a state of emergency in the country.
The democracy of the country can be in danger due to ‘Parivarvad’. This was also on the minds of those who drafted our country’s constitution. The BJP has sacrificed everything to protect the country’s democracy by adhering to its constitution and following the process from the polling booth to the election of the national president within a specific time frame. The BJP is the only party that has merged its existence in Janta Party in order to protect democracy.
This respect towards democratic institutions by BJP leadership has increased the confidence of people in the party, while other parties are working to raise questions on the Election Commission, EVMs, and the courts.
Gandhiji believed that the country should be developed on the basis of an indigenous and decentralized economy. His Swaraj was founded on the concept of Gram Panchayat. Pt. Deendayal Upadhyay saw poor’s welfare (Antyodaya) as the foundation of government success. He proposed that we make economic progress through Swadeshi (indigenous), simplicity, and a decentralized economy. Water, and employment in the farmer’s field; were the basis of his economy. He gave the principle of ‘increase in production, restraint in expenditure ‘.
Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana, Golden Quadrilateral Scheme, the river-linking project, and Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan run by Prime Minister Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee are all examples of the country’s resolve uplift the poor and infrastructure development. In the same way, Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s numerous schemes for the welfare of the poor, use of technology in implementation, agricultural irrigation scheme, and self-reliance mantra are the realization of Gandhiji and Deendayalji’s ideas, earning the trust of the poor and the country in the economic field. India is now a fast-growing economy.
Attacking Indian culture and Indian society in the name of so-called secularism has become a tradition of many political parties. The one who abused more had become more ardent secularist. Leaders and parties steeped in corruption were giving education to the countrymen under the cover of their secularism. Those who indulged in violence were pretending to be secular. In the name of secularism, the very existence of Lord Shriram was denied. Secularism had become synonymous with appeasement.
With a heavy heart, society was watching the deeds of these parties. The BJP stated that we will provide justice to all without favouritism in development. The BJP worked step by step to be proud of its cultural value points. Today, India’s cultural pride shines brightly like the sun. Whether it was the task of bringing back stolen idols from all over the world, the corridor of Shri Ram temple, the beautification of Kedarnath ji, or the construction of Mahakal Lake, everyone was telling their story of glory. Contact with Sufi saints, plans for the development of Bohra and Pasmanda Muslim, societies, and initiatives, such as One Day, One Church demonstrate Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s sense of religious equality.
Corruption used to make daily newspaper headlines prior to 2014. Politicians and political parties were embroiled in corruption. As the doctrine was being developed, government property was for their personal use. After 2014, Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi set an example of political transparency by declaring “Na Khaunga, Na Khane Dunga.” Many political workers who adhere to the “Nation First” principle are a gift from the BJP, who have created the image of their honesty even after being in power. Everything is possible in politics, and where this principle is preached, the government can be run and reformed honestly, as the BJP leadership has demonstrated. Because of this thesw values are alive in politics. This belief has awakened the public.
Everyone’s contribution to the freedom and development of the country, on the basis of respect for all great men, nuclear explosion, and modern army and weapons in the defence sector, BJP has brought India to a respectable place in the world. The importance of Indian culture has been established all over the world. As a result, not only India, the whole world is looking at the Bharatiya Janata Party and its leadership with hope. The BJP is the party that fulfils the aspirations of India, which will prove to be a boon for India through its service.
